Barriers to Communication
The ability to communicate can be hampered by many things. Maybe your communication skills were poor in the past, and now you feel that you will never be able to express yourself well.
Also, mood and personality can interfere with effective communication – for example, if you just had an argument with a friend or did not sleep well the night before, you probably will not communicate in a positive manner.
Preconceived perceptions, past experiences, poor self-image, noise, distractions, and the physical ability to hear or see can also affect communication skills.
