Definition of Communication
The exchange of thoughts, messages, or the like, as by speech, signals or writing. To express oneself in such a way that one is readily and clearly understood. Communication is shared feelings/shared understanding. If you can honestly achieve that goal, you are communicating.
Communicating effectively with parents is a primary task for those who care for and educate children. Just as some children are easier to care for and teach, some parents are easier to communicate with than others.
Establishing effective communication is essential, but can sometimes be difficult, especially when parents are angry or upset.
Communication is the sharing of thoughts, opinions, and other information. It is a two-way process between the person who sends a message and the person who receives it. When we communicate, we use signs and gestures to relate messages. These messages are sent using both verbal and nonverbal methods.
