As information is collected through observation a clearer picture of a child's development is formed. The child's learning style, interests, abilities, behaviors, strengths , weaknesses, cognitive, social, etc. all come together to give this clearer picture. This information can then be used in a variety of ways. Activities and learning environments can be tailored for further development. Concerns can be noted and shared with parents or used by specialists etc.
