Learning Outcomes
Course Overview
Often teachers are responsible for observing and documenting what they see in the classroom. There are others who can help both onsite, and outside partners. To fully benefit children, assessments must be reliable, valid and appropriate for a child’s stage of development. Assessments aid educators in planning curriculum that promotes healthy psychological development and achievement of long-term learning goals. Assessments are also useful in determining which teaching strategies are effective. To fully benefit children, assessments must be reliable, valid and appropriate for a child’s stage of development.
